Frankie’s Guys – A Night of Exceptional Talent and Timeless Songs at the Granville Theatre - Review

By Tim Todd

Last night, the Granville Theatre, Ramsgate played host to a tribute act that more than lived up to the legend it honours – and honestly, I’m still buzzing. Frankie’s Guys, a slick, stylish celebration of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, brought the house down with a performance that was as musically tight as it was utterly joyful.

Taking to the stage were Keith Bradley Marshall, James Alexander Gibbs, Mark Houston, and Matthew Duff – a phenomenal foursome who brought charm, charisma, and powerhouse vocals in equal measure. From the very first note, they had the audience in the palm of their hands. The musicality throughout was genuinely exceptional – you could feel the hours of rehearsal, the deep respect for the material, and the sheer love for performing radiating from the stage.  It was alive, fresh, and full of heart.

What really stood out was the harmonies – smooth, rich, and totally on point. It’s no easy task to replicate the iconic vocal blend of the Four Seasons, but Frankie’s Guys managed to do it with seeming ease. And the vocal range? Wow. There were moments when those falsettos soared so high, it gave me chills (in the best way). The entire group oozed talent, each member getting their moment to shine while still working as a cohesive, powerhouse unit.

Add in slick choreography, a few cheeky moments of banter, and an audience who were up on their feet by the end, and you’ve got a show that feels like much more than just a tribute. It’s a celebration – of timeless music, sensational vocals, and the kind of live performance that leaves you grinning from ear to ear.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just love a good night out, Frankie’s Guys is not to be missed.
