With Broadway's Heathers doing so well here in the UK, it was only a matter of time before this smash hit show marched its way into London's West End. Based on the iconic film, Mean Girls follows Cady, a sweet home-schooled newbie, as she moves to a new school and becomes entangled with The Plastics — the most powerful clique in school.

The musical adaptation is sharper than expected. Tina Fey's book retains the film's comedic intelligence while finding musical moments that genuinely expand the material. The score is bright and contemporary, the performances uniformly excellent, and the staging fizzes with energy. So fetch.
