The Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham is home to this brand-new musical based on the Steps smash-hit songbook. If you want a feel-good night out and want to be transported back into cheesy 90s pop nostalgia, this musical is for you. Set in a small coastal town, the story threads together Steps' greatest hits into a narrative that, while slight, provides a perfectly functional excuse for the songs.

And what songs they are. "Tragedy", "5, 6, 7, 8", "Heartbeat" — performed with tremendous energy and enthusiasm by a cast who clearly love this material. Pure, unashamed fun.
